Welcome to MedProjectHub! This site is an opportunity finding website for the use of health professionals and medical students. We want you to enjoy using it, but there are certain terms and conditions relating to your use. We’ve set them out in this page, so please have a read before use. The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Statement and Disclaimer Notice and any or all Agreements: ‘User’, ‘You’, ‘Client’ and ‘Your’ refers to you, the person accessing this website and organisations who use our website, accepting the terms and conditions. ‘The Company’, ‘Ourselves’, ‘We’, ‘Our’ and ‘Us’, refers to our Company. ‘Party’, ‘Parties’, or ‘Us’, refers to both the User and ourselves, or either the User or ourselves. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the User in the most appropriate manner, whether by formal meetings of a fixed duration or any other means, for the express purpose of meeting the User’s needs in respect of the provision of the Company’s stated services/products, in accordance with and subject to, prevailing law of United Kingdom. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalisation and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same. Moreover, references to “including” and “include(s)” shall be deemed to mean respectively, “including without limitation” and “include(s) without limitation**”.

1.2. Terms and Conditions may change over time; those applicable to users are those which are current and agreed to when a user registers for an account. We may need to alter or discontinue services, or any part of them, in order to make performance or security improvements, change functionality and features, make changes to comply with the law, or prevent illegal activities on or abuse of our systems.

1.3. You agree that we may modify these Terms from time to time without notice to you. We recommend that you review these Terms on a regular basis. You understand and agree that any use by you of MedProjectHub following notification to you, will be deemed acceptance of such changes.

1.4. To be eligible to use MedProjectHub you must be over the age of 18 and you must either be a healthcare professional with a licence to practise or registered as a university student enrolled in a course intended to provide the qualifications necessary to obtain such a licence in your designated territory.

 

2. User Account

 

2.1. You will be required to set up your own account to benefit from medprojecthub.com. You will need to provide information including but not limited to your name and email. You may add additional information including phone number, description about yourself, previous degrees, qualifications, upload a photo, amongst others. We also require Users to respond to an email from a list of email domains we have approved to help verify who they are. We do not confirm our users’ identities and cannot guarantee that our users are who they are.

2.2. We reserve the right to carry out checks of any user details and terminate user accounts if, at our sole discretion, we believe that the information you have provided may be misleading or inaccurate in any way or we believe you are not eligible to be a MedProjectHub user.

2.3. You agree not to set up and use more than one user account, not to set up and use a someone else’s account and not to use anyone else’s information to create an account.

2.4 You grant us the right to access your information for the purposes of monitoring improving or upgrading our website.

2.5. You agree that if you delete your user account, it may not affect the content (which term shall include text, images, media files or content displayed in any other format) that you have provided and shared with other users.

2.6. You agree not to attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on this website

We will approve link requests from these organizations if we determine that: (a) the link would not reflect unfavourably on us or our accredited businesses (for example, trade associations or other organizations representing inherently suspect types of business, such as work-at-home opportunities, shall not be allowed to link); (b)the organization does not have an unsatisfactory record with us; (c) the benefit to us from the visibility associated with the hyperlink outweighs the absence of; and (d) where the link is in the context of general resource information or is otherwise consistent with editorial content in a newsletter or similar product furthering the mission of the organization.

5.4 If you are among the organizations interested in linking to our website, you must notify us by sending an e-mail to admin@MedProjectHub.com. Please include your name, your organization name, contact information (such as a phone number and/or e-mail address) as well as the URL of your site, a list of any URLs from which you intend to link to our Web site, and a list of the URL(s) on our site to which you would like to link. 5.5 No use of MedProjectHub’s logo or other artwork will be allowed for linking absent a trademark license agreement.

7.1 If you find any link on our Web site or any linked web site objectionable for any reason, you may contact us about this. We will consider requests to remove links but will have no obligation to do so or to respond directly to you.

7.2 Whilst we endeavour to ensure that the information on this website is correct, we do not warrant its completeness or accuracy; nor do we commit to ensuring that the website remains available or that the material on the website is kept up to date.

8.1 We shall have no responsibility or liability for any content appearing on your Web site. You agree to indemnify and defend us against all claims arising out of or based upon your Website. No link(s) may appear on any page on your Web site or within any context containing content or materials that may be interpreted as libellous, obscene or criminal, or which infringes, otherwise violates, or advocates the infringement or other violation of, any third party rights.

9.1. To set up user account, you are likely to upload on to, and/or publish via, medprojecthub, “Personal Data” (which for the purposes of these Terms shall mean both “personal data” and “special categories of personal data” as each are defined in the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 (“GDPR)).

9.2. You must not upload any Personal Data on to, or publish any Personal Data via, medprojecthub unless you consent to our use of (or have obtained all consents required at law to enable us to use) such Personal Data in accordance with our privacy policy, which may be accessed here.

9.3. By using medprojecthub, you may receive or have access to Personal Data relating to other users of medprojecthub. You agree only to use any such Personal Data in accordance with the GDPR and/or any other relevant legislation and to indemnify us if we suffer any loss or damage or incur any costs or expenses defending any claim relating to a breach of this clause 9.3 by you.

 

10. Confidentiality and Collaboration

 

10.1. You may gain access to other users personal data through medprojecthub. By using this website you agree to handle confidential information on a confidential basis and as per instruction of the disclosing party.

10.2 Disclosure of any information to other users or public domain is at your own sole risk and you are responsible to ensure the necessary steps were taken to protect the involved parties from physical, spiritual and financial damage.

11.1. To keep medprojecthub at low cost, we may display third party content on the website or our newsletter. 12.2 In the event that your use of medprojecthub if used in accordance with this Agreement, infringes any intellectual property rights of a third party, we may, at our sole discretion and expense, replace or modify medprojecthub so that it is no longer infringing or obtain for you the right to continue using medprojecthub. This therefore constitutes your sole remedy in relation to any claim of infringement in respect of medprojecthub.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude all representations, warranties and conditions relating to our website and the use of this website (including, without limitation, any warranties implied by law in respect of satisfactory quality, fitness for purpose and/or the use of reasonable care and skill). 14.1. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of United Kingdom and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that State or location.
